At Flying Colours we work a little differently, we combine the well-established field of Educational Psychology with the rapidly evolving field of Positive Psychology, the result is Positive Educational Psychology.
Educational Psychology is the science of social, emotional, cognitive and academic development combined with an understanding of change processes and educational contexts.
Positive Psychology is the science of optimal human functioning including the factors that foster wellbeing, growth, flourishing and being the best you can be.
We harness the best of both disciplines to help achieve the very best outcomes for children and young people.
We recognise the importance of ensuring the wellbeing of the adults who work so hard in our schools; it’s inevitable that if our teachers and support staff are languishing, then the support they can give to their learners will be affected. Because of this, we offer both Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology services for school staff.
We also wholeheartedly support services provided by Local Authorities and we are able to help with the delivery of Educational Psychology work within these contexts.
We provide services across North Wales and NW England including Denbighshire, Flintshire, Wrexham, Chester & Cheshire West, Liverpool and the Wirral.
