The Flying Colours Principal Educational Psychologist and Company Director, is Dr Victoria Tyrer-Davies.
Victoria is also currently working towards a MSc in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology.
Victoria is registered with Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Association of Educational Psychologists (AEP). Victoria is also a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) and has been admitted as an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS) in recognition of her experience and contribution to the field of psychology through the application of specialist knowledge.
Victoria has worked as an Educational Psychologist for 13 years firstly within Local Authority and then the Independent sector. She has extensive experience working with a wide range of issues including Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), attachment difficulties, school refusal, social and emotional issues and general learning needs. Victoria has held a specialism in ASC and has worked in a Dyslexia assessment centre.
Over recent years, Victoria has developed a special interest in Positive Psychology and the use of Positive Psychology interventions to support growth, wellbeing and achievement. This branch of psychology which focuses on enhancing lives, whether or not there is a ‘problem’, brings together Victoria's PhD research and her career in Educational Psychology which reflect her passion for helping others to perform at their best and to live their best life. This passion now lies at the heart of Flying Colours. Positive Psychology interventions include, amongst other things, the practice of Coaching Psychology, Victoria is a member of the International Society for Coaching Psychology.

The Flying Colours Associate Educational Psychologists undertake the full range of Educational Psychology work and the team are also able to offer assessments through the medium of Welsh.
We are pleased to offer a Counselling and Psychotherapy service for children and young people. Our therapists are registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold an enhanced DBS Certificate.
